OK, I got LinksBRO, now what?

Congratulations first of all!

As you probably noticed, after ordering LinksBRO, you automatically receive an email which confirms your purchase.

In the same email you find the details about how to download the link exchange script from the clients area located at: http://www.LinksBRO.com/clients

When logging in for the first time, you will notice that you have 999 licenses for your script, and if you use all these licenses, all you have to do is to contact me and I’ll add more to your account, at no charge.

Next step is to install the script. It takes 15 minutes max for a newbie to setup LinksBRO, and for someone who already installed it once, it will take no more than 5-6 minutes.

Of course, the video documentation I provide inside the LinksBRO Clients Area is more than complete, and here’s what are some of the topics discussed inside these videos:

  • How to setup MySQL Databases For your link exchange script
  • Editing the configuration File
  • Uploading LinksBRO On Your Server (FTPing + CHMODDING)
  • and so on (about 12 video are waiting for you in there, including the troubleshooting ones)

Please note the “average playing time” of these videos is 3-4 minutes, and they are extremely simple to follow, and many customers “complained” they are too easy to follow :-)

Next, after watching the videos and installing LinksBRO, you’re ready to go. Here are the steps you need to follow in order to start getting traffic!

1) Setup at least one link from one of your site’s page, which directs people to your link exchange area - this means, search engines will also be able to find your “partners directory” and index its content.

2) Make sure you remove the un-necessary categories from your directory, and keep/create only relevant ones, specific to your niche.

3) If you got a tight schedule or you don’t have enough stamina to exchange links approaching people directly, wait until your directory gets indexed, and the visitors of your site, will start adding links to your directory on autopilot, either by checking out your directory, or by simply “googling” for a phrase specific to your niche plus the “add your link” keywords. E.g. They’ll type inside the Google search bar: clothing “add your link”

This helps them find link pages where they can add links to their clothing related site. This is a trick I always see being done by webmasters and you’ll be amazed how simple it is to get reciprocal links.

4) If you have a blog, write about your new directory and invite people to exchange links with you.

5) Post inside traffic/internet/webmastering related forums, and tell people that you’re ready to exchange links with them. Expose the benefits such as: <<I got a place where you can exchange links with a quality site that works only on a “relevant link exchange” strategy>>, then also talk about your site’s traffic, page rank, and so on.

Some of these forums are (direct link to the area where you can post, to avoid spending extra time to study the subcategories/subforums,etc):

Now, to make it even easier, just create a post first, and change some ideas here and there (for the sake of uniqueness some webmaster think having the same post all over the web is “spammy” and I don’t recommend it either) before starting a new thread inside of each of these forums you go for.

The magic of all this activity is that it takes less time than approaching the forum members directly, and also, LinksBRO handles the rest of the process. You don’t have to even bother about back links checking, HTML editing, FTP-ing, or anything else! :-)

Keep in mind, that whenever someone adds a link to your directory, LinksBRO asks the potential link partner “Where’s the back link to our site?”…

Then, the potential partner has to upload a link on his site first, as suggested by your pre-written guidelines page.

When your partner clicks the submit button of the link exchange application, the spider will go on his website’s suggested page, and check out if the link to your site was added.

If everything goes OK (if the page is there, and ONLY if no trick is used) LinksBRO will accept the reciprocal link, then it will send you a note about the new submission.

At this step you can select if you want to automatically approve the new links or if you’ll do it manually.

Also, some guys want to trick your link exchange script: they’ll link to your site just to pass over the verification part, and then they’ll remove your link…

No problem, LinksBRO will regularly check if all your back links are where they should be, and depending on what options you choose from your admin panel, it can remove the outdated links by emailing the partner first or deleting that submission without any notification.

As you can see, LinksBRO has been built to “make it easy” for you.

Please note this blog post was created to share some insights on what really happens after you purchase LinksBRO.

Inside the LinksBRO Clients Area, along with the downloaded script you will get all the documentation you need. This post is only a guideline for the users of my link exchange script, which explains what you need to do next after setting up your script.

Now, if you’re wondering what’s the latest version of LinksBRO, it’s 3.1.2. I’m updating the script regularly so you can be sure that I’m keeping an eye on this project all the time and you get the best on this market.

Haven’t updated yet to the latest version? LinkBRO comes with free updates, and I totally recommend you should go inside the LinksBRO area, and watch the update instructions video. It takes few minutes to do it and I added some great improvements and bug fixes.

If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact me via the LinksBRO Support Center, using the contact form, or by posting inside the LinksBRO Forum (for logged in customers only — the forum is available inside the clients area).

Best luck!
